Dean Tamati

Dean Tamati, 81 of Salem passed away at Salem Community Hospital on Friday, May 6, 2011. Dean was born in Lisbon, Ohio on March 10, 1930 the son of the late Athanasius “Tom” and Marika (Billaderis) Tamati. Dean worked as a mechanic at Standard Slag and was a US Army Veteran. Survivors include his son Tim Tamati of Salem and a daughter Sharon (Ernie) Parrish of Salem, a granddaughter Terrin Tamati of Indiana and a sister Bessie Clark of Lisbon. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Adam Tamati and his wife Leah Martha Tamati in December of 2010. Per his request Dean will be cremated and a private service will take place.
