Delbert George Fullerton, 78 of Sebring passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his home. Delbert was born in Sebring on February 13, 1936 the son of the late Harold Lester and Frances Lillian (Faulkner) Fullerton. He was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and served in the US Air Force. Delbert worked as a roofer for Hawkins Roofing for 35 years. He loved to fish, do jigsaw puzzles, and loved to walk with his faithful companion Lucky.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Judy (Miller) Fullerton whom he married on April 12, 1969, two sons, Delbert (Beatrice) Fullerton Jr. of California, Jeff (Joanne) Fullerton of Sebring; two daughters Tina (George) Brooks of Alliance, Kim Fullerton of Sebring; seven grandchildren, Tara, Danielle, Jessie, Bambi, Jake, James and Nikki; six great grandchildren Bailey, Brayden, Mason, Johnathan, Connor and Josh Jr. He is also survived by a brother William Fullerton, three sisters Janet May, Patricia Fox and Donna Vernon. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Snyder, Russell Fullerton, Jack Fullerton, Judith Higgins, Harold Fullerton Jr. Mary Fullerton, James Fullerton, Kathleen Fullerton, Velva Ward, Eugene Fullerton and a precious great granddaughter Callie Warner. He also leaves behind his faithful and beloved dog Lucky plus his three precious angels, Tara Danielle, and Jessie his granddaughters who he helped raise, and his dear sister in law who did so very much for him.
A funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at Gednetz-Ruzek with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 1-2 PM. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
