Denise Kay (Hoffman) Hartman

Denise Kay Hoffman Hartman, 53, of Alliance passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Denise was born in Alliance, on January 11, 1962, the daughter of William V. Hoffman and Mary (Blackman) Hoffman-Savage. She was a graduate of West Branch High School and was an office manager for Turning Point. She attended Reading Church of the Brethren. Denise enjoyed painting, music, going to the beach but most of all spending time with her family especially her granddaughter.
Survivors include her mother Mary Hoffman-Savage of Salem, her husband of 16 years, David whom she married on November 14, 1998; two daughters Phoenix Kurpil and Nichole Kurpil, both of Alliance and a granddaughter Cora Kurpil. She is also survived by two brothers William A. (Patricia) Hoffman of Homeworth, Brian S. (Joanne) Hoffman of Louisville, niece Ashley (Grant) Brown of Boardman, nephew Patrick Stecker of Homeworth, a great niece McKenna Brown and her dog Wilson. She was preceded in death by her father William V. Hoffman.
A funeral service will be held at Reading Church of the Brethren on Saturday July 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Larry Bradley. Friends may call from 12 PM - 2 PM prior to the service. Interment will take place in North Georgetown Cemetery.
