Denver Ormiston Sr

Denver Carl Ormiston Sr. age70. formerly of Sebring passed away at his son’s residence on Wednesday March 19, 2008. Denver was born on Sept. 23. 1937 in Kane, PA to ElmerC. & Florence M. (Lorenzo) Ormiston. Denver was employed for Chryster Corp retiring in 1989. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, traveling, fishing, boating, drag racing and motorcycles . He is survived by his wife Barbara (Jones) whom he married on Jan. 6, 1960; two daughters Cathy (Chris) Tewksbury of Sebring and Bonnie (James) Bowen of Beloit, two sons Denver Ormiston Jr of Minerva and Dean Ormiston of Atwater six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sister Teresa (Russell) Baker of Alliance; and brother John (Diana) Ormiston of North Benton.;father in law Kenneth R. Jones of Copeland Oaks and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, two brothers Lesley & Elmer Jr. one sister Mary D. Warner and granddaughter Carrie J. Quinn and niece Amanda McGrath. Services will be held at 11:00a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2006 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Friday from 2-8p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
