Dewaine E. Coldsnow, 71, formerly of New Franklin, passed away at Kindred Hospital, Atlanta,Georgia at 4:16 pm on Friday, December 28, 2007. He was born on June 15, 1936 in Canton, Ohio the son of Earl & Dorothy (Bailey) Coldsnow Dewaine was an Army Vet serving his country in the Korean War,. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction business. He was a life member of the Alliance VFW, Moose and Eagles of Alliance He is survived by his special friend Evelyn Peeples of Canon, GA; his mother of Lavonia, Ga; a daughter Syndey (Gary) Willen of Malvern; 2 sons, John D. (Lee) Coldsnow of Commerce, GA and David (Gloria) Coldsnow of Alliance;5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and Half-brother Russell Coldsnow of East Rochester He was preceded in death by his father and his step father Charles Wogan who died on May 31, 2004. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Thursday, Jan.3, 2008 with his son the Rev. David Coldsnow Officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday 1 hour prior to the service. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
