Dolly A Hardin

Sebring

Dolly Ann Hardin passed away peacefully on August 24, 2022. She resided at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio. Dolly was born in Erwin, Tennessee on May 12, 1926 and moved to Sebring with her husband of 57 years when they were a young married couple. She was the daughter of Lafayette and Gertha (Cutshal) Shelton. She worked at Royal China in Sebring. Dolly was very active in the Sebring Methodist church and did volunteer work there. She worked at the Concern in Sebring, and was a Head Officer for the Mahoning County Board of Elections. She volunteered at Smith Township Grange. She was also on a bowling league for many years. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and gardening. Dolly had a kind heart and a quick wit and she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.

Dolly was preceded in death by her husband Ray Hardin and a son Miachel, six sisters and seven brothers. She leaves behind her son Terry (Jamie) Hardin of Homeworth, Ohio; a daughter Charolette (Bill) Ritter of North Canton, Ohio. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Leslye Hardin, Jacob (Brooke) Hardin, Adriann (Dale) Swan, Nathan (Ashley) Ritter, Michael Hardin, Amanda Gianni, and Ben Hardin and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Dolly will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Higgins officiating. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
