Donald Andrews

Donald W. Andrews, 84 of Sebring passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Community Hospice in New Philadelphia. Donald was born in Sebring in 1930 the son of the late Samuel and Myrna (Myers) Andrews; he was a member of Pine Lake Christian Church and was a carpenter by trade, using his skills to make beautiful furniture and cabinetry. Don loved woodworking, gardening and helping others. Don was a US Marine Corps veteran and enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and friends. He served as elder, deacon, trustee, and teacher at the Pine Lake Christian Church and he loved the Lord.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years Joan (Erb) Andrews whom he married on October 5, 1950 five children; D. Craig (Konnie) Andrews of NM, Mark (Carol) Andrews of CT, Joyce Whiting of Sebring, Rick (Garnett) Andrews of Newark, Lisa Andrews of ME, seven grandchildren; Neil (Steph), Ashley, Chris, Jon, Bryan, Stephen, Brent, three great grandchildren Dylan, Karson, Kierra and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother and 2 sisters.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday March 3, 2015 at Pine Lake Christian Church with Pastor Tom Palmer officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM at the church. Burial will take place in Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
