Donna (Champion) Vernier

Donna Vernier, 75 of Salem passed away on August 16, 2018 at Salem Regional Medical Center. Donna was born in Akron, Ohio on August 12, 1943. She worked as an accountant at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Donna enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.

Donna is survived by her husband Richard Vernier; children Steve (Lillian) Brown, Carrie (Keith) Brown, Melvin (Debbie) Chadwick, Chris (Ledia) Chadwick; brother Robert (Marie) Champion; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son Billy Brown and sister Fran Champion.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Paradise United Church of Christ, 619 E. Main St. Louisville, Ohio 44641 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Matt Lowe officiating. Friends will be received the hour prior to the service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Donna's name to the American Kidney Fund 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD. 20852.
