Donna Weigand

Donna Jane (Virden) Weigand, 99, of Sebring passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Crandall Medical Center. Donna was born on November 19, 1924 in Sebring, Ohio to the late Porter and Leah (Hindall) Viden. Donna worked for many years as a nurse at Salem Hospital. Donna was a member of Sebring First United Methodist Church where she was very active. She was also a member of the Alliance Senior Citizens Chorus.

Donna is survived by her daughter Katherine Schilling; four grandchildren Michael Clark, Jeffery Clark, Misty Mathna and Rebecca Schilling and she is also survived by a brother Franklin Virden. Besides her parents Donna was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Weigand; three brothers and one sister.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sebring United Methodist Church with Pastor Fred Higgins officiating. Friends and family will be received the hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit.
