Doris Dallas

Doris “Dodie” May Dallas, 81 of Alliance passed away at Alliance Community Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2014. Dodie was born in Toronto, Ohio on September 2, 1932 the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Duncan) Higgins; she was a graduate of Sebring High School and worked as a Waitress and at the College Plaza Lanes and Isaly’s. Dodie enjoyed reading, working on puzzles, fishing, traveling but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children; Linda (John) Santos, Debbie Dallas, Diana Muehlenbein, John J. (Terri) Dallas Jr. all of Alliance and a son Thomas E. (Rachel) Dallas of Canton, numerous grandchildlen and great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 brothers; George, Jim and Joe Higgins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her late husbands John “Jim” Dallas and Stephen Yendrich, a son-in-law Warren Meuhlenbein, 3 infant grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
A Private Funeral Service was held at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring on Monday, March 10th with Pastor Zach Rambaud officiating.
