Dorothy Barr

Dorothy May Barr, 81 of Salem passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic. Dorothy was born in Salem on September 27, 1930 the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Rogers) Kalbfell. She was and avid reader and enjoyed watching baseball especially the Cleveland Indians. Survivors include her two daughters; Connie (Kenneth) Burkey of Salem, Doralee Sandoe of Salem, three grandchildren; Leanne (Eric) Ratica, Adam (Erin) Burkey, Tonya (Richard Barnhouse) Sandoe and three great grandsons. She is also survived by a brother William “Bill” (Betty) Kalbfell of Petersburg, and three sisters Sally Miller of Columbus, Carole (Earl) Smith of Salem and Patricia Kalbfell of Salem. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Rosalie Gibson and a brother Don Kalbfell. Per her request services include cremation.
