Dorothy Bowersock

Dorothy Bowersock, 93 of Salem passed away on December 22, 2013 at Grace Woods Senior Living in Salem, Ohio. Dorothy was born in Beloit, Ohio on April 3, 1920 the daughter of the late Franklin and Helen (Gunder) Stanley. Dorothy especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was formerly employed at Norge Village, Woolworth’s and Strong Enamel. She was a life time member of the Sebring Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her son Dale Bowersock of Salem and a daughter Jean Kress of Alliance, 4 grandchildren Dustin, Meredith, Michael and Erika and 2 great grandchildren Morgan and Tanner. She is also survived by a sister Sara Lee. Besides her parents she was precede in death by her husband Burton Bowersock and a daughter Patti Bowersock.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
