Dorothy A. Carman 88, of Sebring died Saturday evening at Salem Community Hospital. Dorothy was born April 22, 1920 the daughter of the late Jacob and Lydia (Hellfritzsch) Vogt. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring and was a clerk at Gromall Drug in Sebring; she was a member of the church Altar and Rosary Guild a past member of the Sebring Country Club and was an avid bridge and golf player. Mrs. Carman is survived by her seven children: Patty (Bill) Sanor of Florida, Jeff (Judi) Carman of Uniontown, Lynn (Don) Dangelo of Salem, Molly Headley of Canton, Joe (Vickie) Carman of Salem, Ann (Steve) Zucchero of Alliance, and Chris (Jeneen) Carman of South Carolina, 20 grandchildren: Bill Sanor, Troy, Ryan, Mary, Edward, Michael and John Carmen, Greg and Adam Headley, Scott Carman, Carrie Mikes, Marisa White, Vanessa Ludwig, Stephanie and Danielle Lee, Nicholas Zucchero, Matthew and Bryan Carmen Blake and Dakota Lewis and 19 great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James in 1972 two grandaughters; Beth Hallett and Katherine Carman, a great grandchild Asa Hallett and two brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Dec. 10th with Father Thomas Dyer officiating, burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM.
