Dorothy Kirkland

Dorothy M. Kirkland, age 79, of Beloit passed away at her home on Friday, June 15, 2007. She was born in Alliance, Ohio on Dec. 23, 1927, the daughter of Enos G. and Violet Lee (Strait) Heacock. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Sebring Evangelical Friends Church. She was a longtime member of the Lexington Grange. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth (James) Nutt of Beloit; brother Robert (Pat) Heacock of Hanoverton; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded by her husband Donald, on Aug. 27, 2000. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday June 19, 2007 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home, with Rev. Quint Bryan officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to the Sebring Evangelical Friends Church or the Sebring Camp Meeting Assoc., PO Box 97 Sebring, Ohio 44672 Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
