Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Gednetz- Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio for Dorothy M. Marshall who passed away Monday morning, January 10, 2011 at Emeritus at Outlook Manor Nursing Home in Westerville, Ohio. Dorothy was born 9-11-1915 in East Liverpool, OH, the daughter of Luther P. Drumm and Edith C (Rutter) Drumm. She moved to Sebring as a young child, and graduated from Sebring High School in l934. She worked at the former Strong Enamel Company in her early adult years. She married Dareld “Bud” Marshall (deceased) March 26, 1939. Dorothy was a homemaker and mother of three sons. She resided and raised her family in Sebring. She moved to Columbus in 1982. Her interests include music, dancing and spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Wayne (Debra) Marshall of Pickerington, and Bruce (Patricia) Marshall of Boardman; a daughter-in-law Martha Marshall of Vermillion; Sister-in-law Jenny (Bruce) Lowman; Brother-in-law William (Ellie) Marshall; nieces Linda (William) Faudree, and Judy (Dale) Stump; grandchildren, Lori (Anthony) Poleway, David (Shelly) Marshall, Michael (Melanie) Marshall, Jacqueline (Patrick) DiMarco, Christopher (Jennifer) Marshall, Heather (Jeff) Murphy, Wendy (James) Misner, Dena (Mark) Hartman, and Katerina (Larry) Kamps ; 18 great- grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death in addition to her husband by son, Paul Marshall; grandson Stephen Marshall; two brothers, Owen Drumm and Gaylord Drumm; and 2 sisters, Delma Bye, Lola Metz. She was also preceded by several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws including her life-long best friend, Edna (Ed) Stanley. The Marshall family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring, OH and will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 13th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Tom Palmer officiating, burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
