Dwight Brunner

Dwight “Sam” A. Brunner, age 63, of Alliance passed away, Thursday Oct. 18, 2007. He was born in Alliance on April 10, 1944 to the late George F. and Lera Odessa (Fryfogel) Brunner. Sam was employed at Transue and Williams until his retirement. He previously served on the North Georgetown and Homeworth Volunteer Fire Departments and was a coach for the Little Warriors Football program for many years. He is survived by his wife of Sara “Sally” (King) whom he married Dec. 30, 1984; his children; Michael (Kathy) Brunner of Cincinnati, Christina (Bryon) Johnson Thomas of Salem, Timothy (Kimberly) Johnson of Beloit; grandchildren Nathan and Rory Brunner of Cincinnati, Hannah Thomas of Salem and Taylor Johnson of Beloit, a brother Kenneth (Ruth) Brunner of Alliance, sister Deloris Brunner of Sebring and a brother Fred (Barb) Brunner of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Robyn Johnson. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 22, 2007 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home, with Sam’s nephew Rick Brunner officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the family present from 5-8 PM. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
