E. Irene Snyder

"Together Again" E. Irene Snyder, 90 of Alliance and formerly of Beloit died Thursday at Community Care Center in Alliance. Irene was born in Parkersburg, WV on September 26, 1918 the daughter of the late Vachel M. and Cora B. (Parker) Mason. She was the owner/operator of the I & J printing Company in Beloit, a member of the Sebring Trinity Lutheran Church, a present member and past Matron of the Salem Order of the Amaranth, past President of the Salem Elks Auxiliary, member of Ali Baba Caldron in Warren, member of the George D. Worth VFW Auxiliary, member of Smith Grange and the Sebring Golden Ages where she served as past president. Survivors include; three daughters; Sylvia (Kyle) Handy of North Georgetown, Linda (Jeff) Kerr of New Franklin, Kay (Gary) Blake of Cross Plains, TN, two sons; Roy (Betsey Jarc) Snyder of Canton, Harold (Darlene) Snyder of Salem, 23 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by; her husband John F. Snyder in 1980, a daughter Jackie Karlen, two step daughters; Garlene Gregoire, Denise Peuhler, four sisters; Dorothy Parr, Ethel Goodrich, Darlene Crawford, Eleanor Nipper, three brothers; Donald Mason, Elmer Mason and Warren Mason. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Case officiating, friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made in Irene’s honor to the Sebring Trinity Lutheran Church.
