Earl Langties

Earl L. Langties, 86, of North Benton passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 with his family by his side. Earl was born in Barrington, Illinois on December 21, 1925 the son of the late Gus and Pauline (Frendesen) Langties. The family moved to Ohio when Earl was young. He was a farmer all of his life. Survivors include his children; Nancy Barnett, Peggy Davis, Lee Langties, Paula Ruggles, Kristina Teets, Joyce Langties, and Betty Fiedler; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Betty Carol (Schroeder) whom he married on September 19, 1948 and who died on March 3, 2008, a son Tim, two brothers Wilbur and George and a sister Charlotte. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM-2 PM with the family present from 12:30-2 PM. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
