Earl R. Pinkerton

Earl R. Pinkerton, 87 of Sebring passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Green Meadows in Louisville, OH. Earl was born in Sebring on November 26, 1928 the son of the late Edmond and Elizabeth (Blutcher) Pinkerton; he was a US Army Veteran and retired from Chase Bank (formerly First National Bank) in 1991.  Mr. Pinkerton was a member of the Sebring Country Club, Alliance VFW and the Sebring Masonic Lodge; he enjoyed golfing, leatherwork and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Mary (Morgan) Pinkerton of Sebring; children; Randal (Renee) Pinkerton of Sebring, Pamela (Mike) Ruflin of North Canton, step children; John (Carol) Hormell of Magnolia, OH, Sharon Bott of Hilliard, OH and Linette (Rodney Sibel) Lochner of Palm Bay, FL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Jennifer Riddle, Isaac Ruflin, Ryan, Adam and Corey Hormell, Danielle Bott, Jaime Dombrowski, Caitlin Lochner a great grandson Aiden Muncy and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Juanita (Jeffries), three brothers and a sister.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home in Sebring with Rev. Martin Radcliff Officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday the hour prior to the service from 1-2PM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
