Edward Jack Murphy, 74, of Deerfield passed away Monday morning February 2, 2009 at his home. Jack was born in Youngstown on May 12, 1934 the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Holland) Murphy. He was a driver for GDS Express Trucking Company, driving routes across the nation; he was a member of the Dover/New Philadelphia Moose and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Murphy is survived by his long time companion Karen Roggenkamp of Deerfield, a daughter Ruth Ann (Dave) Mason of Sebring, son Dennis Albert (Sheila) Roggenkamp of Tell City, IN four grandchildren; Tamra Rene Pelleman and Dylan Joseph Pelleman both of Sebring, William Joseph Roggenkamp and Steven Michael Roggenkamp both of Tell City, IN he is also survived by his 1st cousin Betty Lee Smith of New Castle, IN and an aunt Helen Holland of Canton. Jack was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 7th at 6:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph A. Peters officiating.
