Edward âEdâ Williams, 90 of Beloit, passed away on May 28, 2013 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on March 19, 1923 in Deerfield, the son of the late Harvey and Verda Williams. A lifelong area resident, he enjoyed the Cleveland Browns and Indians, followed the family and their sports teams, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ed is survived by four sons, Scott (Anita) Williams of Sebring, Ed Williams, Jodie (Kathy) Williams of Damascus, Shawn (Katrina) Williams of Lake Placentia; two daughters, Susan Williams and Amy Jacko of Malvern; 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren; two sisters Wilda Bandy and Rose Bartek of Lake Milton. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife Dianna (Stanion) Williams in 1970, and a sister Thelma. Private family services will be held on Thursday May 30, 2013 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Palmyra Cemetery.
