Edwin C. Riddle, 90 of Hanoverton passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Essex I in Salem. Edwin was born in Akron, OH on June 28, 1920 the son of the late Waitman D. and Wren E. (McCulty) Riddle; he graduated from Deerfield High School in 1939 and attended Hanoverton Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife Eva M. (August) Riddle whom he married on March 10, 1990 of Hanoverton, a daughter Jean Ann (William) Hoff of Amherst, OH, a son Donald E. (Bonnie) Riddle of Homeworth, 4 step-sons Wesley (Carla) Polleck of Canfield, Robert (Dotti) Polleck of Leetonia, John (Karen) Polleck of Hanoverton and Fred Polleck of Hanoverton. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister Nola Jane Cooper of Salem. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his step mother Donnie (Vanaroy) Riddle, his 1st wife Hilda M. Riddle in 1988 a sister Elizabeth Wren, a brother Howard Riddle and a grandson Stephen Hoff. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Allmon officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
