Elaine Helsley

Elaine Patricia Helsley, 75 of Alliance passed away at her home on Friday, February 25, 2011. Elaine was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on May 17, 1935 the daughter of the late Bert and Ora (Kagarise) Walter. Mrs. Helsley and her husband Bill owned Handy Man Cleaning Service; she enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family. Survivors include her husband of 56 years William “Bill” Helsley whom she married on May 15, 1954, a daughter Sandi (Todd) Corte of Salem, a son Scott (Necole Carlisle) Helsley of Amsterdam, a son William “Billy” (Coleen) Helsley of Beloit and a daughter Lori Welsh of Louisville. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; Gregory Helsley, Karen Cunningham, Michael Corte, Dale Welsh and a sister June (Robert) Glunt of Magadore and her cats. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Doran officiating. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
