Elaine Sharon Stone, age 80, formerly of Sebring, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024. She was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and later attended Ohio University for Journalism. While attending Ohio University, she took part in a singing trio group. She later worked as a bookkeeper for the Coca Cola Company and Canton Public Library. Alongside reading, she also was known for her wonderful watercolor paintings. They were breathtaking. During her life she enjoyed swimming, listening to 70's music (including the Doobie Brothers), driving around in her red Volkswagen Beetle, going to Silver Park. playing card games, dining out at Doug's and New China in Alliance, and going camping in her pop-up camper. She also exceedingly adored all of the cats she cared for. Elaine even lived in Washington DC and Texas at one point. She loved her family very much and enjoyed taking and having many pictures of them. She loved strongly and lived a very full and interesting life.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Heslep and Wanda Aikens, and one brother, Greg Heslep. She is survived by her daughter, Tara McMahon, two granddaughters, Allison Buck and Dorothy Moore, and two great granddaughters, Nora Buck and Gwen Buck.
