Eleanor A. Lewis, 89, of Beloit passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. Eleanor was born in Youngstown, on January 30, 1922 the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Kidd) Handwork. Mrs. Lewis worked as a nurse at the Salem Clinic and Salem City Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Tuel of Beloit, 5 grandchildren; Adam Tuel of Beloit, Timothy Tuel of Sebring, John Tuel of Sebring, Rebecca Pritzker of Scottsdale, AZ, Charles Tuel of Youngstown, 3 great granddaughters and a sister Doris Yeager of Berlin Center. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Lewis, a son John L. Lewis, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. A private family service will be held today, at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Denny Hazen officiating, burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
