Elizabeth Kilmer

Elizabeth “Betty” J. Kilmer, 88 of Sebring and formerly of North Benton, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Timken Mercy Medical Center in Canton. Betty was born in Fair Oaks, PA on October 16, 1920 the daughter of the late William and Millie (Lloyd) Boggs, and she graduated from Leetsdale High School in 1938. Mrs. Kilmer was a member of the North Benton Presbyterian Church and attended the Damascus Friends Church, she was a member of the Sebring Golden Agers, the Mahoning County Farm Bureau and past Elder and Missionary Circle member of the North Benton Church. Betty is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Clarence) Davis of Beloit, a son Paul (Sandy) Kilmer of Damascus, eight grandchildren: Robyn (Dave) Meditz, Todd (Mandi) Flickinger, Shawn Flickinger, Heath (Jeannie) Flickinger, Brett (Merritta) Flickinger, Heather (Edward) Graham, Starlon Flickinger, Chad Kilmer and 17 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul W. Kilmer in August of 1980, five sisters; Mildred Plues, Ethel Boggs, Gladys Harris, Myrtle Erizer, an infant sister and a brother William Boggs. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 24, 2009 with Pastor John Ryser officiating. Friends may call on Monday at the funeral home from 2-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM and for ½ hour prior to the services on Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
