Elizabeth Steele

Elizabeth. “Betty” Steele, age 85, of Sebring passed away at Crandall Medical Center Wednesday, April. 4, 2007. She was born in Homestead, PA on July 22, 1921, the daughter of Alex & Nellie (Cain) Burns. Betty was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School Class of 39’. She was employed as a Stamper for the Former Royal China Pottery, where she retired after 20 plus years of service. She is survived by her two sons, Arthur W. (Gayle) Steele of North Benton; Robert A Steele of Sebring; sister Emily Cardinal of Sebring; grandson Chad Steele of North Benton and granddaughter Tara (Christopher) West of Bowling Green, Ohio. In addition to her parents Betty is preceded in death by her husband Derald E. Steele, Nov. 14, 1998; and brother Alex Burns. Funeral services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday April 9, 2007.with Rev. James Henkel officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Contributions may be made to the N. Benton Presbyterian Church Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
