Emil Schneider

Emil A. Schneider, 88, of Sebring passed away at his home Tuesday morning. Emil was born in Alliance on March 7, 1920 the son of the late Frank and Jennie (Kessler) Schneider. Emil retired as the Postmaster for the US Postal Service in Sebring; he was a US Air Force Veteran, a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sebring, the Sebring Masonic Lodge #626, the Sebring Country Club and the Sebring VFW Post 673. Mr. Schneider is survived by his son, Kenneth (Joyce) Schneider of Dallas, TX a daughter Patricia (Bill) Beard of Fairview Park, Ohio, five grandchildren; Scott (Susan) Schneider, Jenny (Ryan) Wilson, Ben (Jackie) Beard, Brent Beard and Blake Beard and two great grandchildren Sam and Avery Wilson. He is also survived by his sister Hilda Ryerson of Sebring. Emil was preceded in death by his first wife Martha Schneider, his second wife Lela E. Schneider on March 22, 2008, an infant daughter Shirley Ann Schneider, and a brother Rudolph Schneider. Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Saturday December 20, 2008, with Rev. Jim Case officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
