Emily Phillips

Emily Margaret Phillips, age 96, of Sebring, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Crandall Medical Center. She was born in Alliance on October 22, 1911, the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Riley) Phillips. Ms. Phillips was a graduate of Sebring High School class of 1923. She was a Caregiver to many area residents; Emily was also a member of the Sebring Friends Church and a very active member of the WCTU. Ms. Phillips is survived by many cousins and her caregiver Mary Margaret Weingart. Emily was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Paul Leroy in 1916. Services will be held at 12:00 PM today, June 26, 2008 with Rev. David Parry officiating at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Goshen Cemetery.
