Florence Bivens

Florence A. Kirkham Bivens age 86 of Tallmadge, formerly of North Benton and Salem, passed away Friday, November 10, 2006, at Akron City Hospital. She was born February 2, 1920, in Alliance to Ira A. and Alice (Frederick) Lower. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge. Florence was a salesperson for the Former Schwartz Dress Shop of Salem and O’neil’s in Chapel Hill Mall in Akron. She was a graduate of Deerfield High School Class of ’38. She is survived by her daughter Connie (Marlon) Haynes of Stow: daughter in law Kay (Steve) Kirkham -Rea of Salem; granddaughter Hollie (Mike) Odell of Salem; grandson James (Melissa) Kirkham-Rea of Beloit; granddaughter Lisa Rea of of Salem; great grandsons Austin and Jacob Odell; great grand daughter Kasandra Rea, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her 1st husband James Kirkham and; 2nd husband Clarence Bivens; a son William Kirkham and a sister Hazel E. Waltz. Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home 126 West Vermont Ave. Sebring, Ohio at 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 15, 2006 with Rev. John Schluep officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM, also one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
