Floyd George "Fritz" Dearth

Floyd George “Fritz” Dearth passed away, Friday, September 7, 2007, at Aultman Hospital, surrounded by his family. "Fritz" was born on April 18, 1931, in Matamoras, Ohio to the late William J. and Minnie May (Davis) Dearth. Mr. Dearth was employed at the Royal China Pottery for 40+ years in the maintenance department. He was known to everyone as “Fritz” and was always helping others in need. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart. Fritz was an avid card player. He will be greatly missed by those he leaves behind. He is survived by his wife Charlene “Sue” Dearth whom he married on April 30, 1960. Fritz also leaves behind 4 daughters ; Connie (Charles) Sienerth of Salem; Tammy Kiser of Alliance; Sandy (Doug) Jackson of Columbiana, Donna (Keith) Seevers of Millville, NJ; 1 son Ray (Gail) Dearth of Philadelphia, Pa; 1 stepson William Wright of Sebring;1 brother Clarence (Vera) Dearth of Beloit; and 1 sister Florence “Toots” Anderson of Alliance; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Mr. Dearth was preceded in death by his son Stevie Dearth who passed away on May 1, 1962; 3 brothers Chuck, Raymond and Harold “Bud” Dearth; 4 sisters Goldie Dearth; Marie Grimes; May Thomas; and Hallie Klem. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday Sept. 12, 2007 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio with Pastor John Bush officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 9-11-07 from 2 to 8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
