Floyd Prendergast

Floyd K. Prendergast of Alliance, age 80 was born July 1st, 1927 in Georgetown W.VA to James and Grace( Hickman) Prendergast, passed away at his home on Saturday morning. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Powell Prendergast of Sebring and his constant companion Mary Riggle of fourteen years, of Alliance; two sons, William (Cheri) of Beloit and Richard of Youngstown and a daughter Rebecca Foster of Youngstown; two brothers, Ronald of Beloit and Frank of W. VA.. He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, and two sons, Dwaine and Keith and a daughter Anna. He had sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His favorite things were dogs and horses and mowing grass. He will be sadly missed by all. Visitation will be at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday June 9, 2008.Per Floyds request he will be cremated. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
