Frances Blendenbacher

Frances Blendenbacher, 89 of Alliance passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Alliance Community Hospital. Frances was born in Alliance on April 23, 1923 the daughter of the late Ira and Dixie Wells. She was a graduate of Alliance High School Class of 1941 and worked at Energy Cleaners, Manhattan Cleaners and Roker Nursing Home. Mrs. Blendenbacher was a former member of the Dames of Malta, enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with her family and loved going for rides. Survivors include her son Fred Blendenbacher of Sebring, a daughter Ellie (Tom) Shaw of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Brian and Tony Blendenbacher, Lisa Dotson, Nick Shaw; 3 great grandchildren John Blendenbacher, Sidney Dotson and Jillian Dotson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fred who died on July 11, 1993, a brother Walter Wells, and a sister Louella Reichard. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home officiated by Pastor James White. Friends may call one half hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
