Frances Seavy, 95, of Sebring, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025. A remarkable woman, she dedicated her life to her family, raising two wonderful children, Gerald (Beth) Seavy and Kimberly Firestone. She was a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren, Megan McLaughlin, Katie Seavy, Byron Firestone, and Madeline Firestone, along with her beloved great-grandchild, Emma. Frances was widowed after losing her beloved husband, Judd, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage for many years.
She is survived by her children, her four grandchildren, her great-grandchild, and her sister, Barbara Stockdill, of St. Petersburg, FL.
Known for her sharp wit, charisma, and caring spirit, Frances could hold a captivating conversation with anyone she met. Her meticulous nature was evident in her well-kept apartment, her self care routines, and her financial savvy. A fiercely independent woman, she embraced life with humor and grace.
Frances loved a challenging crossword puzzle, a clever cartoon, an old Willie Nelson song, a fashionable outfit, a good book, and a crisp Canadian Club & Ginger Ale. She has to hold the record for reading the most books from the Copeland Oaks Library!
In honor of her caring & fun-loving spirit, the family requests that donations be made to the Copeland Oaks Employee Christmas Fund, which supports the dedicated staff who provided her with such wonderful care.
