Frances Wilson

Frances Pauline Wilson, 97, of Sebring passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2009 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. Frances was born in Carroll County, Ohio on May 11, 1912 the daughter of the late Jesse VanFossen and Euna (Westfall) Boyd; she lived in the Alliance and Sebring areas since 1971. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Sebring Presbyterian Church, a 27 year member of the Alliance Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Quaker Hill Progressive Club. Survivors include her daughter Mary Jean Ewing of Louisville, a son Larry W. (Phyllis) Wilson of Louisville, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Besides her parents Frances was preceded in death by her husband William M. Wilson whom she married on Sept. 20, 1940 and preceded her on January 22, 1999, 1 brother and 1 sister. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Curtis officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
