Frank M. Hamon Jr., 83, of Sebring, passed away at Alliance Community Hospital at 7:19 a.m. on February 11, 2008. He was born on April 12, 1924 in Hopewell, Virginia, the son of the late Frank M. Sr. & Margaret Engle Hamon. Frank was an Army veteran serving his country in WW II. He was a member of the Pine Lake Christian Church. He was employed as a millwright for General Motors in Lordstown. Frank was known as the âBike Manâ in Sebring. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Marion M. (Woolf) Hamon whom he married on Oct. 5, 1945; son Timothy (Jill) Hamon of Alliance; 2 sons-in-law,Dan Snyder and Gary Mathews; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 daughters Terry M. Snyder and Joan C. Mathews; 2 brothers James H. Hamon and Harvey H. Hamon ; 2 Sisters Aline Radcliff and Helen Fletcher; 1 granddaughter and 1 great grandson. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 14, 2008 with Mike Bratten officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
