Frank P Long

Frank "Frankie" P. Long, 74, of Alliance passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Aultman Hospital, Orrville after a short illness. Frank was born on April 14, 1946 in Alliance, Ohio to the late James and Livia (Lee) Donofrio Long Sr. Frank graduated from Alliance High School in 1965. Frank was a proud United States Army Veteran serving from 1969-1971. Frank owned and operated Longs Family Meat Store and then went to work as a Machinist at Georgia Pacific where he retired in 2011. After retiring he worked part time at Green Farms in Alliance.

Frank married the love of his life Diane M. Long on September 20, 1980 and spent 41 wonderful years together. They spent their lives loving Jesus, loving one another, loving their children and grandchildren. He was a memeber of First Friends Church and Trinity Gospel Temple. He loved the Lord; loved to minister, especially to the elderly. When Frank was not working or helping others he enjoyed gardening, and was an avid fisherman. Frank was known for loving the outdoors and the beach. He was always happy, a giver and always offered his undivided attention willingly.

Frank is survived by his wife Diane (Carlile) Long; children Lisa Lee Long; Sissy (Tyler) Long and Traci (Todd) Besse; sisters Mary-Ann (Scott) McKee, Barb McFalls, Nancy Stuchell, Mary (James) Thorpe, and Lisa (Joel) McKee; grandchildren Chance Kungle, Alek (Fiance Alexa) Kungle, Todd Nathen Besse and Marina Lee; nieces and nephews Tina McKee, Kimberlee McKee, Tommy and John Beltz, Jenn Mathies and Jackie Stuchell. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Betty Rutter and 2 brother-in-laws. Besides his parents Frank was preceded in death by a daughter Sommer Marie Long and brother James "Jimmy" Long Jr.

Per Frank's requests no services will take place. A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring.
