Freda D. (Hill) Schlott

July 24, 1924 — October 25, 2016

Freda D. Schlott, 92 of Beloit went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 25, 2016. Freda was born in Sebring, Ohio on July 24, 1924 the daughter of the late Milton and Della L. (Roach) Hill; she was a 1943 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and retired as a finisher from Queen’s China in Sebring in 1984. Freda was a faithful member of New Hope Church of God and enjoyed participating in church events and its ministry many knew her a person that was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, her church and the community.

She was a devoted and loving Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma her survivors include her four grandchildren; James W. Stine III of Canton, Kristin R. Latimer of Beloit, Ray Ann E. Nelson of Beloit and Arianna S. Oyster of Alliance.  She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Schlott whom she married on September 2, 1949 and passed away on March 4, 1999, a daughter Geraldine Ossman on May 27, 1997 and 2 brothers Charles A. and Lloyd M. Hill. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Don Nicely officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday the hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place at in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.  Friends and family may send their condolences online at www.grfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home, Sebring, OH (330) 938-2526.
