Gary Crowl

Gary L. Crowl, 64 of Salem and formerly of Lisbon passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 16, 2011. Gary was born on April 26, 1947 in Negley, Ohio the son of Neal and Althea (Barnes) Crowl Sr.; he was a US Army veteran and a private/operator Truck Driver; but he enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandkids. Survivors include his mother Althea Crowl of Lisbon, his wife Tina Marie (Maines) Crowl of Salem whom he married on March 21, 1980. his children: Gary (Lisa) Crowl of Lisbon, Shonda (Sean) Devine of Summitville, Matthew Crowl of Lisbon, Maria (Travis) Brown of Lisbon, Samson Crowl of Salem and a step son Michael (Kris) Jackson of Salem. He is also survived by 4 brothers Neal (Janie) Crowl Jr. of Salem, Sam (Carolyn) Crowl of Michigan, Blaine (Glenda) Crowl of Columbiana, and Timothy (Lori) Crowl of Lisbon, a sister Elaine(Robert) Deal of Lisbon, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at Franklin Square Cemetery on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 2:00PM with the Salem Honor Guard providing Military Honors.
