Geneva âLucyâ Irving, age 85 formerly of Sebring, passed away at 12:30 P.M., Thursday, November 16, 2006,at Altercare of Alliance, with her loving Family at her bedside. She was born March 18, 1921, in Hadley, PA to the late Weible and Jewell (Alsup) Neafie. She was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Alliance. Lucy was the Owner/Operator of Lucyâs Eat-A-Rama in Sebring for 20 years, she was also a former employee of the Hippety Hopp Restaurant, she was an officer of the Senior Group of the Church and received the Rotary Club Award. She is survived by her two daughters Jan (William) Trummer of Sebring; and Patricia Carpenter of Laurel, Montana; two sisters Joyce Conley of Lakeland, FL.;and Carol McClain of Daytona Beach, Fl.; and two brothers Ronald Neafie of Columbia, Md.; and Richard Neafie of Camby, Or; four grandchildren;nine great grandchildren;and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, her husband Donald E. Irving on 5-1-1994; her Step Mother Gladys (Minsker) Neafie; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006 with Rev. Michael Ping officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 9 PM with family present, also one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
