Geoffrey Bailey

Geoffrey C. Bailey, 20, of North Canton died Sunday, Sept. 23rd at Timken Mercy Medical Center, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Sept. 16th in Nimishillen Twp. Geoffrey was born Feb. 17, 1987 in Canton to William and Georgia Bailey. He graduated from GlenOak High School in 2006 and was attending Stark State College, and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Canton. He was also employed at the Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton and enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and friends. Geoffrey’s last wishes were that his organs be donated so that someone else may benefit from the gift of life. Survivors include; his parents William and Georgia of North Canton, two aunts Carole (Dwight) Niederkofler of Canton, Susan Adkins of New Philadelphia, an uncle Robert (Arliss) Bailey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a cousin Todd Adkins of Denver, Colorado. Geoffrey was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Olive and Carl Bailey and his maternal grandparents Bessie and Richard Chaddock. Services will be held at Trinity United Church of Christ on Thursday, Sept. 27th at 1:00PM with Rev. Lynn Bozich Shetzer officiating. Friends may call at the church Wednesday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM and also one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery in North Canton.
