Georgia Whitcher

Georgia E. Whitcher, 79 of Beloit, Ohio passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2007 at Crandall Medical Center. Georgia was born in Alliance, Ohio on Feb. 17, 1928 to the late Charles and Bertha Somers. Georgia worked at Perskey’s/Sparkle Market until her retirement. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in North Georgetown and the Lakeside Mother’s Club, she also enjoyed bowling. Georgia is survived by 2 sons; Bruce A. (Mary Ann) Whitcher of Salem and Ken L. Whitcher of Beloit. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Zachary, Nicole, Hannah and one brother Bill Somers of Alliance. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl K. Whitcher on Dec. 3, 1993, one brother and one sister. Services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, Nov. 9th at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Delaney officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 8PM with the family present from 6 to 8PM. Burial will be in North Georgetown Cemetery. Arrangements by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
