Glenna Emery

Glenna Marie (Pettit) Emery, wife of the late William J. Emery, passed away October 29, 2014 at age 93. Glenna and Bill owned Emery Dry Cleaning in Sebring for 40 years. Glenna was a past Worthy Matron of Sebring’s Alma Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and the Mother Advisor for Alliance’s Rainbow Girls during the 1960’s.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Hacker, a son Del (Maggie) Emery and her sister VerdaJane Rummel. She is also survived by grandchildren; Dawn Hacker Miller, Christopher Emery, Nikki Emery Heaton, and Beth Emery and great-grandchildren Megan Miller and Griffin Miller, Anna Hacker, Sydney Emery and Will Heaton. She was preceded in death by her parents J. Glenn and Agnes Pettit, four sisters: Eileen Bandy, Willetta Bansburg, Geraldine McClure, Janet French, and her grandson Gregory Hacker.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday November 2, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home with Rev. Barry C. French officiating. Friends may call from at the funeral home the hour prior to the service on Sunday. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
