Grace Manypenny

Grace M. Manypenny, 90 of Beloit died Monday afternoon at Alliance Community Hospital. Grace was born in Berlin Center, Ohio on October 3, 1918 the daughter of the late John W. and Clara Lillian (Helsel) Hartzell. Grace was a member of the Sebring VFW Post #6730 Auxiliary, the Sebring American Legion #76 Auxiliary, the Alliance VFW #1036 Auxiliary, the Salem Eagles, the Mahoning County Farm Bureau and enjoyed playing bingo and spending her time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Manypenny is survived by her three daughters; Patricia (Homer) Sanor of Beloit, Janice Henderson and her fiancée Allen of Struthers, and Debra (Lonnie) Bartchy of Beloit, 7 grandchildren; Bud (Debbie) Sanor, Teresa (Lynn) Felgar, David Bartchy, Kevin Bartchy, Matthew Bartchy, Mark (Colette) Birkheimer and Lori (Roland) Case, 9 great grandchildren; Melissa (Billie) Woolf, Randy Crowe, Alisha Sanor, Desirae Sanor, Amanda Case, Nathan Birkheimer, Zack Birkheimer, Cole Birkheimer and Madelynn Felgar, and one great great grandson Caleb Woolf. Grace is also survived by her 4 sisters; Alice Ward of Beloit, Evelyn Honaker of New Franklin, Doris Crawford of Alliance and June Weinhoffer of Westville and her caregiver Billie Jo Wood of Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Selby Ralph Manypenny whom she married April 11, 1938 and died January 17, 2007 an infant daughter, Linda Raye on May 9, 1948, three sisters, Bernice Fiscus, Mary Manypenny, and Lena Johnson, and two brothers John Hartzell and Harold Hartzell. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM, Thursday, Jan. 22nd, at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Kenny Manypenny officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11:00 AM till the time of service. Burial will take place in Hartzell Cemetery.
