Gregory Lewis

Gregory “Greg” Gerard Lewis, 62 of Salem, passed away at Salem Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Born on April 8, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan he was the son of the late Joseph Elias and Lorraine (Fochey) Lewis. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation as a material handler and he and his wife moved to Salem in 2011. Greg was always on the go he enjoyed all sports including but not limited to Racing, Golf and bowling; he also liked to cook and cars of all kinds.

Survivors include his wife Nerida Ann (McDaniel) Lewis whom he married on September 2, 1992 of Salem, 5 children; Gregory (Jenny) Lewis II of Sterling Heights, MI, Justin Michael Corpolongo of Salem, Rachel Ann (Jason) Swejkowski of Anchor Bay, MI, Sarah Jane (Terry) O’Connor of St. Clair Shores, MI, Francesca (Dan) Byers of Sterling Heights, MI ,14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Philip James (Julie) Lewis of Detroit, MI.
