Harold “Ed” Simones, 40 of Beloit, died Tuesday morning at Alliance Community Hospital. Ed was born in Akron on January 16, 1968, he graduated from West Branch High School in 1987 and was a US Navy Veteran. He was an avid sports fan and worked as a truck driver. Mr. Simones is survived by his mother Gloria Behner of Beloit, his grandmother Iris Behner of Beloit, two sisters; Rhonda (Mark) Piccoli of Alliance, Renee (Rick) Wiley of Oxford, North Carolina, and a brother Jason Evanitcka of Mogador, he is also survived by his uncle Kenny (Jan) Behner and an aunt Lana (Bob) Schroeder both of Alliance, 7 nieces and nephews and one great niece and his campanion Char Phelps of Mountain View, MO. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 7:00 PM with Carolyn Wagar-Hier officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 PM. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may view the obituary and sign the guest register on line at www.grfuneralhome.com.
