Harry Snyder

Harry Olin Snyder, 84 of Alliance passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, October 10, 2011. Harry was born in Alliance on May 19, 1927 the son of the late Harry W. and Hanna Elizabeth Snyder, he was a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving from 1945-1946. Harry retired from SANCAP and worked his retirement years at WalMart in Alliance; he enjoyed bowling, and all kinds of sports but he especially loved to be with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife Judy Ann (Joseph) Snyder whom he married on October 5, 1987, his children; Linda Snyder of Alliance, Carol (Scott) Toelley of Oakland, Maryland, Harry Jr. (Lori) Snyder of Alliance, Susan (Tom) Hines of Alliance, Brian (Racheal) Joseph of Cleveland, Tammy Puckett of North Benton, Michael (Dana) Joseph of Alliance, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Ralph Snyder of Alliance and 3 sisters, Kathryn Lindsly of Cleveland, Sarah Stobert of Lakeland, FL and Maude Goldsby of Macon, GA. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Marge France. A Private Service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Highland Memorial Park Chapel at 12:00 PM with Rev. Joe Peters officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
