Helen Andre

Helen Marie Andre, 75, of Salem, passed away on January 14, 2014 at Circle of Care in Salem. She was born in Salem, on June 18, 1938, the daughter of the late Edward and Blanche M. (Reuff) Swartz. Helen was employed by Hull’s Market, Salem Label and most recently Wal Mart. She was a member of the Salem Kingdom Hall, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, piano playing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son David (Cindy) Andre of Salem; two daughters Bonnie Andre of Salem, Amy (Bill) Gibson of Salem; thirteen grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Ed Swartz and five sisters Carol Schreffler, Linda Raymond, Janet Grande, Florence Huff, Liz Miller. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Ernest, two brothers Harvey Dotson and George Swartz and an infant sister.
A memorial service will be held on Friday January 17, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Burkhart officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
