Helen Louise (Conley) Campbell

June 7, 1926 — January 28, 2018

Helen Louise (Conley) Campbell went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 28, 2018. She passed peacefully in her sleep. Helen was born on June 7, 1926 in New Boston, Ohio to Joshua and Bessie Conley. She graduated from Glenwood High School in 1945. She earned a B.A. in Education from Kent State University in 1971. She taught at Southeast Elementary and West Branch Knox Elementary. She is preceded in death by the love of her life Arthur, her parents Joshua and Bessie Conley, three brothers Carl, Earl and Harold Conley. She is survived by her sister Mildred (Conley) Martin of Canton, Ohio, three sons; Chris Allen Campbell and his wife Yvette of Indialantic, Florida, Glen A. Campbell and his wife Tanya of Washington, D.C. and Scott Lee Campbell and his wife Judith and their two sons Andrew and Nathan of New Castle, PA. She served her country during World War II as a riveter building planes in a defense plant in Canton, Ohio before she met her husband Arthur. She was a long time member at North Benton Presbyterian Church and served as a deacon, an elder, as a teacher for the High School Sunday School Class, a Diaconal Minister as well as the Clerk of Session. She loved the Lord, her family and her greatest joy was sharing the salvation that can be found in Jesus Christ with everyone she met. She reflected the love of the Lord wherever she lived and did so up to her last days with the fellow residents and staff at Grace Woods Senior Living Community.

A funeral will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home at 126 West Vermont Avenue, Sebring, Ohio 44672 at 1:30 PM. Calling hours will be held the hour prior to the service on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will also be held on Saturday, May 19th at the North Benton Presbyterian Church 19070 N Benton Rd W, North Benton, OH 44449 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to: Gideon International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214 to help spread the Gospel around the world.
