Hilda Ryerson

Hilda J. Ryerson, 100, of Sebring, passed away on August 8, 2014 at her home. She was born in Youngstown, on April 11, 1914, the daughter of the late Frank and Jennie (Kessler) Schneider. She was a beautician and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Hilda was a member of Sebring Golden Agers, Sebring Country Club, National Hair Dressers Association and VFW Women’s Auxiliary #6730.
Survivors include two daughters Jo Ann Lofland of Kent, Karen R. Dorr of College Station, Texas; a son Robert R. Ryerson of Gulfport, Mississippi; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ross in 1999 and two brothers Rudy Schneider and Emil Schneider.
A funeral service will take place at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Wednesday August 13, 2014 officiated by The Rev. Frank Gross Jr. Friends may call the hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Grandview Cemetery.
